Raymond C. (Ray) Teitsch of Powell died Monday, Aug. 26, 2013, at St. Vincent Healthcare in Billings, Mont. He was 74.

Ray was born Dec. 11, 1938, in Bremen, Ind., to Francis Wilcox and Raymond F. Teitsch. Ray would travel out west on his hunting trips and liked the area very much. He found work in Wyoming and eventually moved to the Douglas area. Ray married Carol L. Haney on Dec. 22, 1972, in Cody and they made their home in Lovell. Ray did construction work and most recently was employed by Deaver Irrigation. He enjoyed woodworking as a hobby. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Ray was preceded in death by his parents Raymond and Francis Teitsch, son Earl Teitsch and son Jay Reaker.

He is survived by daughters Elaine Lee of Kentucky, Bonnie of Tennessee, Susie of Georgia, Cathy Herrin of Tennessee, stepdaughter Sheri (A.J.) Apodacaof Riverton; stepson Robert (Janet) Spencer of Whitewood, S.D.; brothers Frank (Laura) Teitsch of Cody, Tom Teitsch of Illinois; sisters Mary Mitchell of Illinois, Marlene Holderman of Indiana, Marsha (Jeff) Jellerson of Missouri; 15 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Friday, Aug. 30, at the LDS Church on Avenue E in Powell. Visitation will be one hour prior at the church. Burial will follow at Crown Hill Cemetery.
