B. Marie LaVine, of Cody, died July 3, 2013, at West Park Hospital in Cody. She was 93.
She was born on May 2, 1920, in Canton, Ohio.
Marie attended Cody Bible Church and Cody United Methodist Church before her illness. She loved camping, Red Hatters, Pony Express and the Wyoming Fiddlers.
She is survived by her daughter Shirrel Van Tassel and Shirrel’s husband Alan Short; grandchildren April and Miner, Tracy and Quinn Lafollette, and Jennifer and Dave Mason; nine great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren.
Memorial donations can be made to the West Park Hospital Third Floor Hospice Room, 707 Sheridan Avenue, Cody, WY 82414.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, July 9, at 1 p.m. at Ballard Funeral Home in Cody with burial to follow at Riverside Cemetery. Please come to celebrate in comfortable clothing; the funeral directors will not be wearing suits so you don’t have to either!
