Beverly Ann Farmer, 79, of Cody, died on May 31, 2013, at her home.

She was born June 20, 1933, in Bismarck, N.D. She was the youngest daughter of Victor and Lillian Pederson, and lived in Driscoll, N.D., until 1944, when she moved to Powell. She graduated from Powell High School in 1951.

Bev married Bert Farmer on May 25, 1951. She was a secretary for the Powell school system, Husky Oil Co. and the Bureau of Land Management. She and her husband owned and operated Big Horn Basin Dental Laboratory in Cody for 23 years prior to their retirement in 1990. At that time, they traveled to Arizona enjoying friends and the warm weather, returning to Cody for the summers.

Bev was a member of the Presbyterian Church of Cody and the American Legion Auxiliary of Powell. She loved traveling, boating and fishing with her husband and her family. In these last years she enjoyed playing cards and working on sewing projects with her friends in Cody and Powell.

Bev was preceded in death by her husband, infant grandson and parents.

Bev is survived by son Brad (Cindy), grandchildren Brett, Christine and Brian; son Randy (Brenda), granddaughter Colleen (Mike) Campbell, great-grandsons Tyler, Isaac and Logan; grandson Clint (Cassie), great-granddaughters Madeline and Teagan; daughter Lori (Jerry) Pool, grandson Darren (Amber), great-granddaughter Ryland; and grandson Kevin. She is also survived by her very special sister, Jackie Graham.

A memorial service will be held Friday, June 21, at 2 p.m. Ballard Funeral Home in Cody.
