Sally Wilkins, 87, of Cody, died on Monday, March 25, 2013 at the Spirit Mountain Hospice House.
Sally was born Dec. 17, 1925 in Deaver to Leslie and Mildred (Garard) Hill. The family moved to Powell where Sally completed her education.
In 1943, Sally married Robert “Bob” Wilkins. To this remarkable 67-year union, four children were born: Robert (Judy) of Wheatland, Barbara Otto of Douglas, Wendy (Jerry) Patrick of Greybull and John Wilkins of Cody.
Sally was blessed with nine grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. She kept up with all of them through Facebook right up to her last two weeks of life! She was Bob’s true life partner, an avid reader, an artist and an amazing cook, but her family was her most valued achievement.
Sally was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers: John and Leslie Hill, an infant brother and her husband, Bob.
Cremation has taken place through Ballard Funeral Home and a private family memorial service will be held at a later date. Memorial donations can be made to West Park Hospice Fund, 707 Sheridan Ave., Cody, WY 82414.
