Virginia ‘Ginny’ Hall

(May 4, 1928 - Feb. 11, 2013)

Virginia “Ginny” Hall died Monday, Feb. 11, 2013 in Powell. She was 84.

Ginny was born on May 4, 1928, to Phillis D. (Gordon) and Charles C. Kunkel.

She attended schools in Oregon until the eighth grade. Ginny married Walter Earl Hall on June 23, 1964 in Thermopolis. They lived in Cody, Wheatland and Powell.

The couple had a daughter, Tammy. Ginny was a homemaker and loved painting pictures. She also enjoyed working on the ranch in Wheatland, milking cows and feeding livestock.

Her loved ones all miss her laughter and smiles, and they will hold her in their hearts forever.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brother Glen Kunkel.

Ginny is survived by her loving husband, Walter Earl Hall of Powell; daughter Tammy Gordon of California; sister LaDonna (H.D.) Lee of Alaska; one grandchild; one great-grandchild; three nieces and three nephews.

No services are planned at this time.
