Alma Jean “Cookie” Willams Seeley died Sunday, Feb. 10, 2013 at her home in Powell, in the arms of her husband, Walter Duane Seeley, Sr. She was 78.
She was born in Green River on March 16, 1934, to William Henry Lewis Williams and Ellen Ann “Lala” Sloan.
Cookie was a loving wife and mother, a woman of warmth, strength, courage and devotion. A memorial service in her honor will be held at St. John’s Episcopal Church, 308 Mountain View Street, in Powell on Thursday, Feb. 14 at 10 a.m. for the many people who touched or were touched by her.
Funeral services and interment will occur in Green River. A full obituary will follow.
