Shirley June (Baker) Tack died Saturday, Nov. 24, 2012. She was 93.

Shirley was born June 6, 1919, the daughter of Leroy and Nell Baker.

She attended schools in East Grand Forks, Minn., and married Floyd “Bud” Tack on June 6, 1937.

They farmed in the East Grand Forks area until 1965. Shirley was employed by the East Grand Forks school system and was involved with Mendenhall Presbyterian Church and the VFW Auxilliary.

She was preceded in death by her husband Bud, son Phillip, four brothers and three sisters.

Shirley is survived by her sons John L. (Lois) Baker of Mission, Texas, Daniel V. (Sharon) Baker of Dilworth, Minn. and Bennett Baker of Logan, Utah; daughter Cleo Rae (Tom) Lealos of Powell; 19 grandchildren; 45 great-grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; and sisters Mickey (Harry) Schroeder of Waseca, Minn. and Nell (John) Cash of Bemidji, Minn.
