Jewell married Vernon Adey on June 23, 1933 in Houston, Mo. To this union, three children were born; daughter, Maxine, and sons, Emmett and Lynn. In October 1956, Vernon died from a heart attack.
Jewell was married to Oscar Farmer on Jan. 2, 1962. Oscar died in August 1987.
Jewell was preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Vernon Adey and Oscar Farmer; son, Emmett Adey; grandson, Timothy Adey; son-in-law, George Wambeke; brothers, Johnie, James, Everett and Cecil; and sisters, Myrtle, Mamie and Edna.
Jewell is survived by her daughter, J. Maxine Wambeke of Lovell; son, Lynn (Lois) Adey of Lovell; sister, Blanch Ross of Houston, Mo.; grandchildren, Georgette (Nick) Lewis, Gary Wambeke, Vernon (Mary) Adey, Keela (Bob) Mangus, Travis (Tammy) Adey; 18 great-grandchildren and 21 great-great grandchildren; stepson, Jim (Mary) Farmer and family; step-daughter, Bette (Lawrence) Sand and family; brother-in-law, Willard (Laura) Adey; sister-in-law, Beulah (Joye) Flowers; and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held Oct. 26 at Haskell Funeral Home in Lovell. Interment was in the Lovell Cemetery.
