Funeral Services for Bonnie Jean Loomis Lutterman, 80, will take place at 10 a.m. today (Tuesday) at Haskell’s Funeral Home, with Father Glen Szczechowski officiating.

Bonnie died Wednesday, Aug. 29, at the New Horizon Care Center in Lovell.

She was born Sept. 5, 1931 in Wheatland, the daughter of Harold and Mildred (Freeman) Loomis. She was raised and educated in Wheatland Wyoming. She graduated from Wheatland High School in 1949. She attended Cotty College in Missouri, then transferred to University of Wyoming, where she graduated with a bachelor’s degree in education. That is also when she met her husband Raymond John Lutterman. The couple married Aug. 6, 1955.

Bonnie enjoyed sewing, camping, painting, playing cards and horseback riding.

She is survived by her husband, Ray Lutterman; children Scott Lutterman, Lisa Rael, Lori Young and Heidi Lutterman; grandchildren Amy Gonzales, Trevor Lutterman, Kristina Robison, Amber Mangus, Jessica Rael, Sara Walker, Haylee Young,  Jash Lutterman and Tessa Lutterman; and 16 great-grand children.

Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents, her sister Marilyn and brother Hugh.

Pallbearers were Trevor Lutterman, Jash Lutterman, Jason Robison, Shane Walker, Al Young, and Xavier Mangus.

Honorary pallbearers were Scott Lutterman, Brandon Mangus and Quit Gonzales

Haskell’s Funeral Home was in charge of the arraignments.
