Sheriff’s office searches for answers after mutilated body found Thursday

Who is it? And who did it?

The Park County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help as it works to identify a man’s mutilated body found on a remote Badger Basin road last week.

The mutilated body of a man — apparently the victim of a murder — was discovered in Badger Basin on Thursday. Local and state law enforcement are working to figure out what happened.

Powell’s, Mountain View’s and Lyman’s girls’ basketball teams enter this weekend’s competition with unblemished records in Class 3A West.

A 28-year-old woman was killed in a Saturday incident at the Western Sugar Cooperative factory in Lovell.
