(Jan. 7, 1944 - April 17, 2001) Funeral services were held April 23 at the LDS Church in Powell for Raymond Earl Allen, 57, who died Tuesday, April 17 at the Powell Hospital.He was born Jan. 7, 1944, in Cody to Bill Allen and Alberta Young.He was a front-end alignment and brake specialist, as he made a name for himself in the automotive mechanic's industry. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping and riding 4-wheelers. His family said of him that he was a devoted dad, grandpa and son, who was happiest when surrounded by family and friends.Survivors include four daughters and their husbands, Tania and Mark Kroswki in Texas, Tricia and Chet Clairmont in Colorado, Cindy and Steve Dorsey in Idaho and Shelley and Tom Koerner in Nebraska; his father, William Allen in Burlington; a brother, Patrick Frost in Casper; five sisters, Virginia Killman and husband Joe in Texas, Clara Davidson in Washington, Bertha Bentley and husband Gary in Washington, Edith Allen in Tennessee and Shirley Gutierrez and husband Richard in Wyoming; and six grandchildren, Matthew, Ashlie and Nicole Krowski and Chase, Zachary and Sydnee Clairmont.He was preceded in death by his mother and brothers Billy Allen and Mike Allen.Pallbearers at the funeral were Bob Langdon, Dave Hopper, Ray Counts, Ron Andersen, Babe Funke and Kenneth Cauffman. Honorary pallbearers were Lloyd Heimer and Loran Workman.
