Two snowmobilers who went missing in the Big Horn Mountains have been found.
"They are cold and tired but other than that doing well!" the Big Horn County Sheriff's Office posted to its Facebook page Thursday night. "We want to thank everyone for your concern and eagerness to help!"
The Sheriff’s Office had said in an early Thursday afternoon Facebook post that Search and Rescue teams had been out looking for the two missing men, aged 48 and 50 years old, for the entire day.
“We have been searching since 12:30 a.m.,” the Sheriff’s Office posted around 2 p.m. “We are currently experiencing severe weather conditions on the mountain including fog, wind, snow ...”
As of early Thursday afternoon, there were 19 volunteers on scene. The Sheriff's Office initially asked for volunteers, but said around 4 p.m. that they had enough help. It wasn't immediately clear what time the men were found, but a family member announced the news around 7:30 p.m.
