Investigators have released a sketch of the man they are seeking in connection with a Monday, Oct. 8 abduction in Cody.

A flyer released Saturday morning describes the suspect as possibly between 45 and 60 years old, between 185 and 200 pounds, with short strawberry blond or white hair. The flyer says the suspect is believed to have had a neatly or newly trimmed mustache or beard. The FBI says the man wore brown eyeglasses with blue accent stripes on their sides. He was wearing a brown shirt, blue jeans and a tan baseball cap.

The suspect's vehicle is described as a white SUV, possibly a 2004 or 2005 Toyota 4-Runner. The suspect vehicle had a silver over black Thule car top carrier on its roof on Monday, Oct. 8, but the carrier was later recovered by law enforcement and is being processed for evidence.

The suspect may have been living out of his vehicle short-term (weekend or a few days) on or around Oct. 8, the FBI says.

The public is encouraged to contact law enforcement if they know of a person fitting the above description who drove a Toyota 4-Runner with a Thule car top carrier on or prior to Oct. 8.

The public is also encouraged to call if they know a person fitting the above description and drives a Toyota 4-Runner that no longer has as Thule car top carrier.
