Francis (Butch) Piechowski - March 3, 2006

A Ralston resident, Francis (Butch) Piechowski, died Friday, March 3 at Powell Valley Hospital. He was 58.
He was born Oct. 14, 1947, in Graceville, Minn., son of Cyril Piechowski and Margaret (Whipple) Piechowski. He gradated from Wilmet High School.
He married Gail Henneberg Schlueter on July 27, 1996, at Shell Falls in Wyoming. They lived in Powell and Ralston.
At various times, he was a car salesman, an insurance agent and a laborer for Big Horn Redi Mix and Kylander Construction. At the time of his death, he was a bulk fuel truck driver for Big Horn Coop.
He enjoyed hunting, four-wheeling, camping, playing darts and lawn work and gardening. He was a member of the Milbank, S.D. fire department for 22 years. He was a member of the Eagles Lodge in Powell.
Survivors include his wife Gail of Ralston; a son, Dennis (Richelle) Piechowski of Simi Valley, Calif.; stepsons Rylan Schlueter of Powell and Nathan Schlueter of Milbank, S.D.; daughters Chris (Rick) Chapin of Webster, S.D. and Becky (James) Johnson of Milbank, S.D.; step-daughter Heidi Schlueter of Milbank, S.D.; sisters-in-law Betty Henneberg and Wynn Gustafson of Arden Hills, Minn.; brother-in-law Gary (Mary) Henneberg of Holloway, Minn.; a step-nephew and two step-nieces; and 11 grandchildren. He is also survived by his first wife, Pat Berkner.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Peggy Piechowski.
Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, March 9 at Mundwiler Funeral Home in Milbank, S.D., and a Powell memorial service will be held Tuesday, March 14 at 10:30 a.m. at the Powell Eagles Lodge.

Margaret M. Whiston - March 4, 2006

Long-time Powell teacher Margaret M. Whiston, 80, died Saturday, March 4 in Kemmerer following a courageous battle with cancer.
She was born Aug. 22, 1925, in Kemmerer to John R. and Rachel M. Whiston. She taught middle school English in Powell for 35 years. She loved teaching and devoted her time to inspiring students.
She was a member of the St. Patrick’s Parish and was active in the Council of Catholic Women. She also volunteered at Fossil County Frontier Museum, and she was actively involved in the Kemmerer Senior Center.
Survivors include her sisters, Patricia Moon of Fallon, Nev., and Donna Marker of Rogers, Ark., and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents; brothers Jack and Ronald Whiston; and sisters Ruth Kirkwood and Audrey Williams.
A rosary will be said at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Kemmerer Thursday, March 9 at 7 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday, March 10 at 10 a.m., with burial in the Kemmerer City Cemetery under the direction of Crandall Funeral Home.
Memorials can be made to the American Cancer Society.

Funeral services were held Friday, March 10 at Thompson Funeral Home in Powell for Darryl James Lewis, 61, who died Monday, March 6 in Rapid City Regional Hospital in South Dakota.
Father Pete Johnson of St. Barbara’s Catholic Church officiated at services.
He was born June 13, 1944, in San Bernardino, Calif., to Lonnie Lewis and Bertille Coleman Lewis. He earned a high school diploma at Pacific High School.
He married Lynette Benson in California on Aug. 9, 1968, and they have lived in Powell for the past 23 years. He was owner-operator of his own long haul truck and received a 1 million-mile ring and has driven over 5 milion miles with no accidents.
He was a member of the Catholic Church.
His outdoor enjoyments included camping, fishing and snowmobiling.
His family will remember him as one of the most generous souls — always there to help and depend upon as a true head of the household. He changed the lives of so many people he touched.
Survivors include his wife Lynette of Powell; two sons, Darryl Lewis, Jr. of Littlefield, Texas and Brian Lewis of Powell; four daughters, Genette Ortega of Ocala, Fla., Amy Lewis and Valerie Wenecki, both of Powell, and Mary Myers of Idaho; a sister, Sandra Broussard of Powell; and 21 grandchildren.
Arrangements were handled by Kirk Funeral Home of Rapid City, S.D., and Thompson Funeral Home of Powell.

Kelley D. Hamilton - March 7, 2006

Mass of the Christian Burial will be celebrated today (Tuesday) at 10 a.m. at St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Cody for Kelley Daniel Hamilton, 35, who died suddenly Tuesday, March 7 at West Park Hospital in Cody.
Burial will be in Powell's Crown Hill Cemetery at 2 p.m. Tuesday.
He was born June 10, 1970, in Powell to Lee J. and Joan (Mackey) Hamilton. He was raised and attended school in Cody before the family moved to Bakersfield, Calif, where he graduated from high school in 1989.
Following a year of employment, he entered the U.S. Army in September 1990. He served in Kuwait twice and in Korea twice, in addition to being stationed at several bases in the U.S. during 11-plus years in the military.
After his discharge in 2002, he worked in Bozeman, Mont., and also in Oregon before returning to Cody. At the time of his death, he was attending Western Nebraska Community College, studying at the aviation school.
He loved kids and spending time with his family. As a hobby, he enjoyed radio-controlled model airplanes.
Survivors include his daughter, Emily Ann Hamilton of Lemore, Calif.; his mother and her husband, Joan and George Gillett of Powell; his brothers, Patrick L. Hamilton of Medford, Ore., and Shaun M. Hamilton of Sacramento, Calif.; his sister, Theresa Stevenson of Eva Beach, Hawaii; and numerous aunts and uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Lee J. Hamilton.

Charles 'Wayne' Mangus - March 11

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 15 at Haskell Funeral Home in Lovell for Ralston resident Charles (Wayne) Mangus, 72, who died Saturday, March 11 after a long, hard battle with emphysema.
Despite his struggles at the end of his battle, he managed to hang on for his 72nd birthday and his 53rd wedding anniversary with his beloved wife, Donna Mae.
He was born in Lovell on Feb. 27, 1934, to Charles (Chon) and Violet Mangus. He married Donna Mae Laddusaw on Feb. 28, 1953, in Powell.
Wayne and Donna lived all over Park County, but spent most of their time in Farmington, N.M., before returning to Ralston in 1996. He was a dedicated employee of the Marathon Oil Company and El Paso Natural Gas and claimed among his greatest accomplishments the co-founding of the Chemical Dependency Center in Cody and the co-founding of the Park County Credit Union.
He was an aspiring artist, and painting was his passion. Before his death, he finished a series of three paintings of the Old Faithful area of which he was extremely proud. Painting kept him going, and with each vision came another painting that he needed to share. His family said that he will live on for them through his beautiful paintings.
Survivors include his wife Donna Mae; three daughters, Pam Tresler (Lee) and their children, Jennifer, Jeremy and Jana of Kalispell, Mont.; Peggy Tarr and her sons, Matthew, Chance, Justin and Cody of Cody; Suzie Claycomb and her children, Jessica and Kip of Cody; and a son, Thomas Rodney Mangus of Ralston. He is also survived by brother Bert (Evelyn) Mangus of Billings, Mont., and Jay (Peggy) Mangus of Worland; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Peggy Havig; and a niece, Diane Havig.
Burial will be in the Penrose Cemetery.

Sylvia Irene Musso - March 11, 2006

Funeral Mass was celebrated Saturday, March 11 at St. Barbara’s Catholic Church in Powell for Sylvia Irene Musso, 63, who died Tuesday, March 7 at St Vincent Healthcare in Billings, Mont.
Father Pete Johnson officiated, and the Yellowstone Harmony Women’s Barbershop Chorus, of which she was a member, paid final respects with a musical farewell. Coleen Metzler was also a vocalist.
She was born Sylvia Irene Anderson on April 24, 1942, in Grand Junction, Colo., to Carl Lewis Anderson and Helen Cora (Bizer) Anderson. She graduated from high school in Palisade, Colo., and attended Mesa College for two years where she met and fell in love with her future husband, the late Donald Paul Musso. They were married on Aug. 4, 1962. Don’s position with the U.S. Forest Service provided opportunities to live in many beautiful and scenic places in the state of Colorado. Their final transfer brought the family to Powell in 1977.
Sylvia worked as a purchasing agent at Powell Valley Healthcare for the last 27 years.
She had a passion for music and loved to sing and dance. She sang with the Yellowstone Harmony Women’s Barbershop Church and was also involved withthe Pink Ladies Septet. Because of her love for the 50’s music, she was instrumental in helping to organize their performances.
She also enjoyed spending the summers camping and fishing with her friend and companion, George Berchtold. She found great pleasure in spending time with her friends, especially Saturday afternoons with her “Tea Ladies.” She will be remembered for her friendly disposition and her cheerful smile.
Sylvia loved her family and would always welcome family and friends with open arms. She loved each and every one of her children and grandchildren with all her heart. Her seven grandsons, “the Magnificent 7,” each had a special place in her heart.
Survivors include a son, Michael Anthony Musso (Lisa Renae) of Powell; three daughters, Karolyn Marie Rood (Darrell) of Powell, Lisa Anne DeBuano (Michael) of Canon City, Colo., and Suzannae Lynn Conde (Jason) of Loveland, Colo.; her mother, Helen Anderson Weaver of Grand Junction, Colo.; four sisters, Pat (Doug) Dean, Carol (Jon) Hiebert, Karen (Richard) DeLeon and Mary Bein; and seven grandsons.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Paul Musso; her father, Carl Lewis Anderson; and her mother-in-law, Mary Carmella Musso.
Pallbearers at the funeral were Darrell Rood, Mike DeBuano, Jason Conde, David Bergh, George Berchtold and Bob Vergara.

Vernon Ray Baggett - March 11, 2006

Vernon Ray Baggett, 85, of Granite Shoals, Texas, died Saturday, March 11.
Graveside service will be Wednesday, March 15 at 11 a.m. at Lakeland Hills Memorial Park in Texas.
Born May 27, 1920, in Leon County, Texas, Vernon was the son of Lonnie and Laura (Baker) Baggett. He was a veteran of WWII.
Survivors include his daughter Linda Sue Ponder and husband James of Pearland, Texas; sons Ray Baggett and wife Susan of Watervliet, N.Y., Mike Baggett and wife Mary of Powell and Lonnie Baggett and wife Amber of Houston, Texas; sisters Eula Elliott of Teague, Texas and Kay Shipp and husband Bo of Houston; brother Benton Baggett and wife Ann of Mexia, Texas; grandchildren, Brian, Jason, Travis and Matthew and great grandchildren Jesse and Ivan.

Marilyn D. Linkvis - March 16, 2006

Marilyn D. Linkvis of Basin died March 16, 2006, at Hot Springs Memorial Hospital in Thermopolis.
She was 66.
She was born June 5, 1939, in Chadron, Neb., to Clifford and Leah (Dorsey) Roland. She worked as a civilian clerk for the U.S. Armed Forces from 1955 to 1974 in California.
She is survived by a grandson, Jeremiah Zupko of Rawlins.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Burial took place in Crown Hill Cemetery in Powell.

Mildred Irene Ware - March 17, 2006

Funeral services will be conducted Friday, March 24 at 1:30 p.m. at Union Presbyterian Church in Powell for long-time resident, Mildred Irene Ware, who died Friday, March 17 at the West Park Long Term Care Center in Cody. She was 88.
The Rev. David Hunter will officiate at services and burial in Crown Hill Cemetery.
She was born Oct. 14, 1917, in Sewal, Iowa, daughter of Forrest A. Kincade and Lizzie Collins Kincade. She graduated from Seymour High School in 1934 and attended teachers college, then later earned a degree from Northwest Institute of Medical Technology.
She married Wilford L. Ware, and they made their home in Powell where she worked as a medical lab technician. She also worked in Denver, Minneapolis, Centerville, Iowa and Wenatchee, Wash.
As the chairwoman of the Mayor’s Committee for the Disabled, she was instrumental in acquiring the grant money for the handicapped ramp at the Powell Post Office. She also was a volunteer hair dresser at the Powell Nursing Home.
She was a member of the Presbyterian Church, the Shoshone Rock Club, Eastern Star and BPOE Does. She enjoyed her bridge clubs and painting and made scenic rock pictures. She was an outdoor enthusiast where she engaged in rock hunting, fishing, golfing, and pheasant and duck hunting. She was also fond of gardening and raising roses, sewing and travel. She had traveled to China and Panama.
Survivors include a stepson, Bill Ware of Sheridan; two step-daughters, Charlotte Ware Magee of Cheyenne and Ginny Ware of Sheridan; a sister, Eunice (Richard) Clark of Grain Valley, Mo.; nephews James S. (Christie) Allison of Powell and David Allison of Flagstaff, Ariz.; niece Stacy A. (Bill) Althaus of Grain Valley, Mo.; great-nephews Derek and Scott Allson, Zachary and Sean Althaus; grandchildren, Clark (Kristi) Jensen, Andrew Ware and Sam Ware; and great-grandchildren, Ellie and Morgan Jensen, Jordan Ware.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Wilford Ware; a sister, Reva Allison and brother-in-law, Lester Allison; and granddaughter Colette Jensen Day.
Pallbearers at the funeral will be Bill Ware, David Allison, Derek Allison, Scott Allison and Allen Knopp. Honorary pallbearers are James S. Allison, Bill Althaus, Richard Clark, Clark Jensen, Andrew Ware and Sam Ware.
Visitation will be from 6 to 7:30 p.m. tonight (Thursday) and from 12 noon to 1:15 p.m. Friday at Thompson Funeral Home.

Allen L. Schweighart - March 19, 2006

Allen Lee “Butch” Schweighart, 72, died Sunday, March 19 at Hot Springs Memorial Hospital in Thermopolis.
He was born in Gebo, Wyo., May 18, 1933, to Charles and Wilhelmine Schweighart. He was raised on the Schweighart Sheep Ranch on Cottonwood Creek. He attended grade school at the Schweighart School near the Schweighart Ranch and graduated from Washakie County High School.
He enlisted in the U. S. Air Force June 13, 1952. In June 1954, Allen was transferred to the 315th Air Division, 483rd Troop Carrier Wing, Headquarter Squadron at Ashiya Air Base, Ashiya Japan. Allen received an Honorable Discharge May 14, 1956. He was awarded the Korean Service Medal, the United Nation Service Medal, the National Defense Service Medal, the Sharpshooter Medal and the Good Conduct Medal. He received a final Top Secret Security Clearance and Atomic Energy Commission Security Clearance.
He returned to the Schweighart Ranch after being discharged. He married Elaine Thronburg on July 15, 1956. To this union were born three children, Jeff, Crystal and Karla. Butch became employed with Atlantic Richfield Oil and Gas Company living in Hamilton Dome for 12 years before moving to Thermopolis. After 23 years with ARCO, Butch was hired as petroleum engineering technician in 1981 with the U.S.G.S. in Thermopolis. In 1983 he transferred to the Bureau of Land Management in Worland. He received a Wyoming BLM employee award for superior performance in 1995 and retired in 1998.
He was involved in guiding for more than 30 years with different outfitters, most recently guiding for his son, Jeff, with Hot Springs Outfitting, Inc.
He was an associate member of the Cowboy Joe Club, and a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and the National Rifle Association. He served on the Thermopolis Centennial Committee and the Veterans Memorial Committee.
He enjoyed hunting, lake fishing, following professional bull riding and refurbishing antique furniture. Butch was an avid University of Wyoming fan. He was preceded in death by his wife of 49 years, Elaine on Nov.13, 2005; two brothers, Fred and Herman (Shorty); and one sister, Marie (Sis) Pitt.
He is survived by his children, Jeff of Powell; Crystal Shapiro of Stamford, Conn., and Karla and Alan Pomeroy of Lovell;, his twin sister, Alice and Pat Beckley of Ten Sleep; two other sisters, Dorothy Brunk of Twin Falls, Ohio; and Myrt and Harlow Davis, of Ten Sleep; two brothers, Carl and Pat Schweighart of Worland, and Ed Schweighart of Minnesota; and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 25 at 10 a.m. at First Baptist Church in Thermopolis. Burial will follow at Monument Hill Cemetery.
The family asks that memorials be made to the VFW Post #2281, 302 Broadway, Thermopolis, WY 82443.

Graveside services were held Monday, March 20 at Crown Hill Cemetery in Powell for Marilyn D. Linkvis, 66, of Basin.
She died Thursday, March 16 at the Hot Springs County Memorial Hospital. Arrangements were by Thompson Funeral Home.

Jane Mohrherr - March 20, 2006

Funeral services are scheduled today (Thursday, March 23) at Haskell Funeral Home in Lovell for Jane Mohrherr, 80, who died Tuesday, March 20 in the North Big Horn Hospital at Lovell.
She was born Feb. 5, 1926, to Amelia and Thomas Biggs in Billings, Mont. She grew up in Custer, Mont., where she worked on the ranch and wrangled horses. The family later move to Wyoming, living on the Upper South Fork and later in the Deaver-Lovell area.
She married Einar E. Mohrherr Jan. 1, 1958, and had three children, Janet, Judy and James. She was an avid reader and collected antiques.
Survivors include her daughters, Janet Hiltz of Cody, Judy (John) McWilliams and grandchildren John E. (Stephanie), Jordan and Jessica of Baker, Mont.; her son, James (Elizabeth) Mohrherr of Sacramento, Calif.; and her brother, Burns (Bus) Biggs of Cody.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and son-in-law, Stacy Hiltz.

Edna Mae Sage - March 22, 2006

Powell resident Edna Mae Sage, 79, died Wednesday, March 22 at Littleton Adventist Hospital in Littleton, Colo from complications of pneumonia. She died surrounded by her loving family.
Funeral services are scheduled Saturday, March 25 at 2 p.m. at Union Presbyterian Church. The Rev. David Hunter will officiate at services and burial in Crown Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be at Thompson Funeral Home from 1 to 1:45 p.m. prior to the service.
She was born Aug. 17, 1926, in Middletown, Ill., to Harold Hamman and Effie Mae (Thompkins) Hamman. She completed her early schooling at a one-room schoolhouse near the family farm. She graduated from Lincoln High School where the family had moved following the death of her mother to breast cancer when Edna Mae was 16.
Upon graduation, she moved to Arizona where she met the love of her life, Bob Sage, on a blind date. He was a soldier returning to his Army base in Arizona following action in World War II. After his discharge, Bob and Edna Mae were married on Oct. 18, 1945, and eventually he brought her back to his home in Wyoming.
She was a devoted mother to her three daughters, Sandra, Donna and Nancy. She loved to cook and sew for her family. Many of her happiest memories were the dinners she cooked for her children and their families. She also loved camping and fishing. In their later years, she and Bob would take their camper south and spend winters in Arizona.
She was a member of the Union Presbyterian Church for over 50 years and served as a deacon.
Survivors include her daughters, Sandra Adams of Littleton, Colo., and Nancy Forshee (Frank) of Powell; grandsons David Adams (JoAnne) of Grand Junction, Colo., Stephen Adams (Noni) of Casper, Beau Nelson of Sheridan, Nate Forshee of Ten Sleep and Misty Bolker of Hyattville; great-grandchildren Renee, Leslye and A.J. Adams, Stacie and Sierra Adams and Caden and Wyatt Bolker; her brother-in-law, Al Fields, and nuymerous nieces and nephews. She was expecting her first great-great grandchild in September.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bob; her sister, Dorothy Fields; and her daughter, Donna.

Levi Lee Loyning - March 25, 2006

Memorial services for Levi Lee Loyning, son of Geary and Debbie Loyning, will be conducted Saturday, March 25 at 2 p.m. at the Deaver Community Building.
Levi died Feb. 21 at his home in Kalispell, Mont. He was 29.
He was the grandson of Grace and the late Jay Asay of Frannie and George and Bonnie Loyning of Powell.

David R. Cozzens - March 20, 2006

David R. Cozzens died Monday, March 20, 2006, in North Big Horn Hospital in Lovell after years of poor health.
He was 84.
He was born Aug. 1, 1921, in Byron to Matt and Marybelle (Robison) Cozzens, the next to the youngest of 10 children. His parents and grandparents on both sides were pioneers sent to the Big Horn Basin in 1900 to settle.
He attended schools in Byron and was inducted into the Army in 1942. After 18 months, he left the Army as a tech sergeant with an honorable medical discharge. He returned to the Big Horn Basin, where he drove truck and worked for Nicholls & Lewis and Lovell Clay Products for many years and after retirement, he was a watchman for Great Western. He was known as a horseman, as he owned horses most of his life, and as an expert handler. He was also known for his stories and sense of humor. He was a keen observer of people and had an impeccable memory of folks and events.
Dave and his wife of 60 years, Frankie, lived most of their life together in Cowley. They raised three children, David, Leslie and Andrea. David's daughter, Lindsay, and Leslie's daughter, Jensen, brightened his life with their companionship and accomplishments.
He was a resident of the New Horizons Care Center since January 2005. He enjoyed visits from friends and family and the care and camaraderie of the caregivers at the center. He was a lifelong member of the LDS church.
He is survived by his wife, Frankleen (Frankie); son, David (Donna) of Laramie; two daughters, Leslie (Steve) Davies of Rock Springs and Andrea of Cody; two granddaughters, Lindsay of New York and Jensen of New York; one sister, Avon Brown of Bakersfield, Calif.; two sisters-in-law, Bernice Cozzens of Powell and Dorothy Cozzens of Byron; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by three infant children; his parents; four brothers, Solon, Fay, Lou and Myron; and four sisters, Zula, Lydia, Genevieve and Marybelle.
Funeral services were Saturday, March 25 at the Cowley LDS Church. Burial followed at the Byron Cemetery. Haskell Funeral Home in Lovell handled arrangements.

Raymond C. Garcia - March 29, 2006

Raymond C. Garcia of Cody died March 29, 2006, in Powell.
He was 43.
He was born Aug. 24, 1962, in Powell to Pete and Hope (Villegas) Garcia.
He attended high school and was employed as a mechanic and welder.
He enjoyed fishing with his nephews and spending time with friends and family. He was a member of St. Barbara's Catholic Church.
He is survived by his parents, Pete and Hope Garcia of Powell; girlfriend, Mandy Steggal of Cody; three sons, Nick and Matt Garcia and Troy Joiner; two daughters, Jade and Courtney Garcia; and two sisters, Jane (Michael) Showalter and Delia Lackey.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Pete; his grandparents; and several aunts and uncles.
Funeral services were Saturday, April 1, at St. Barbara's Church with Father Pete Johnson presiding. Burial followed at Crown Hill Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Tom Munoz III, Art Munoz, Roland Munoz, Jason Showalter, Danny Showalter, Troy Joiner and Matthew Roby. Honorary pallbearers were Tyler Showalter, Andrew Rosenberger, Josh Rosenberger and Nick Garcia.

Ruth I. Ross - March 29, 2006

Ruth I. Ross of Powell died March 29, 2006, at St. Vincent Healthcare in Billings.
She was 78.
She was born Sept. 20, 1927, in Fredonia, Kan., to Thomas Howard and Dorothy (Mooney) Davis. She attended high school in Casper.
She married Kenneth C. Ross on June 11, 1947, in Billings, and the couple lived most of their married life in Powell, where she worked as a housewife, mother and nurses aid at the Powell nursing home.
In her early years, she enjoyed camping with her family and friends and loved caring for the elderly at the nursing home, where she worked for 16 years. She enjoyed her home and life with her husband, feeding the yard birds and cross-stitching for her children and grandchildren. In her later years, she also kept herself busy with her home and family, especially husband Kenneth, whom she adored.
She is survived by a son, James Ross of Powell; a daughter, Judy (Riley) Norris; two granddaughters, Julie (Eric) Johnson and Cindy (Robert) Ibarra; two step-grandsons, Scott (Cindy) Norris and Dave (Chris) Norris; and eight great-grandchildren, Katherine Johnson, Tia LeeAnn Ibarra, Amanda, Shaundra, Scotty and Cassie Norris and Levi and Dalton Norris.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth C. Ross; mother, Dorothy Robinson and sister, Myrna Lu Handy.
Funeral services were Monday, April 3 at the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Powell, with Pastor Dan Binder officiating. Organist was Judy Showalter and vocalist was Carolyn Kost. Pallbearers were Jim Ross, Bob Bessler, Robert Ibarra, Scot Norris and David Norris. Honorary pallbearers were Riley Norris and Ray Linton.
Burial followed in Crown Hill Cemetery. Arrangements were handled by Thompson Funeral Home.
Memorials may be sent to the Rocky Mountain Cancer Center in Billings.

Lois F. Stogner - March 31, 2006

Lois F. Stogner, 71, died at West Park Hospital in Cody on Friday, March 31, 2006.
Memorial services will be Tuesday, April 4, at 7 p.m. at Cody Assembly of God Church.

Bob Reinhardt - March, 2006

Graveside services will be held Saturday, June 24 at 11 a.m. at the Deaver Cemetery for Robert (Bob) Reinhardt, 69, who died in Arizona in March.
He was born Aug. 12, 1936, to Alec and Opal Reinhardt. On June 6, 1959, he married Sharon Bean, and they made their home in Wickenburg, Ariz. He died at his home on March 27, 2006.
Survivors include his wife; two sons; three grandsons, Tom, Alec and Christ, and one granddaughter, Samantha Nicholle. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Alene Lohrenz.
Bob retired from the Bureau of Reclamation in 1994 after 30 years of service.
He loved trap shooting and four wheeling and was an avid fisherman and hunter.
A dinner will be held following the service at Dick and Karene Wagner’s home, 57 Ln 7W, Deaver, one-half mile east of the Deaver Reservoir. Meat, rolls and dessert will be served,. Carry-in dishes will be welcomed.
