Easy to find reasons to be thankful

It’s Thanksgiving time again.

This week is American Education Week, so, as an antique teacher, I feel compelled to comment on the subject, based on my half century of intimate involvement in public education.

As a child of World War II, born in 1944, I have a special interest in that era.

It’s pretty common for us old geezers to look askance at the younger generations.

 

It’s been interesting — well, maybe that’s not quite the right word — to read about the protests people have raised over the current government shutdown.
