Lawrence Frank Meyer

Lawrence Frank Meyer, Jr., of Cody died from heart failure on March 10, 2013 in Billings. He was 63.
Larry felt like he was in heaven just living in Cody. He greatly enjoyed fishing and camping. He had many friends and was very well liked. Larry will be missed by all.
Lynn Wesley Fross

Lynn Wesley Fross died Tuesday, March 5, 2013 at his home in Powell. He was 85.
Lynn was born at home in Loupe City, Neb., Dec. 8, 1927 to Franklin C. and Minnie (Oltjenbruns) Fross. He was the seventh of nine children.
James O. Howell

James O. Howell died Tuesday, March 12, 2013 at St. Vincent Hospital in Billings after a sudden illness. He was 82.
Jim was born in Pingree, Idaho, on June 13, 1931 to Velma “Marie” (Beebe) and James V. Howell.

Merlin Stanford Olson, 77, died Wednesday, March 13, 2013 at the Powell Valley Care Center in Powell.
Funeral services will be held Monday, March 18 at 2 p.m., at the Hope Lutheran Church in Powell.
Gun-cleaning accident leads to injury in Clark
A teen was accidentally shot and seriously injured in Clark Monday night while he and a friend were cleaning handguns, according to a news release from Park County Sheriff Scott Steward.
Margaret H. Corbridge

Margaret H. Corbridge died unexpectedly in Tucson, Ariz., while traveling to visit family. She was 86.
She was born May 30, 1926 in San Jose, Calif., to Margaret I. (Ashley) and Robert “Elmer” Dempster. In 1927 the family moved to Wisconsin and then moved to Cody in 1929 at the start of the Great Depression where they remained.
Sheila Clements Brown

Sheila Clements Brown died on March 8, 2013 after a long fight with cancer. She was 60.
Sheila was born on Aug. 1, 1952.

Linda Lee Bircher-Van Buren died peacefully at her home on Feb. 25, 2013 with her husband, George, and her cats at her side. She was 66.
Linda was born in Wilson on Nov. 24, 1946 to Andy and Gertrude Bircher and joined four sisters, Lois, Betty, Jean and Barbara and two brothers, Jerry and Kenny, at the family home on the banks of Fish Creek.
Nea Sandra Schwager Yetter

Nea Sandra Schwager Yetter, 80, of Cody and formerly of Meeteetse, died peacefully in her sleep March 1, 2013, at her home with family by her side. Nea was a longtime resident of Meeteetse where she was born and raised.
