A memorial service and reception for Philip A. Napoli, 72, of Powell will be held at the Elks Lodge in Powell (581 N. Clark St.) on Sunday, April 7, from 2-4 p.m. Philip died peacefully at home on Saturday, March 30, 2013 after battling cancer for four years.

Lupe Clark, 82, of Kearney, Neb. (formerly of Holdrege) died Friday, March 29, 2013 at the Mt. Carmel Home – Keens Memorial in Kearney.

Roger Lawrence, of Cheyenne, died March 26, 2013. He was 65.

Roger was born in Seattle, Wash., on March 12, 1948 and raised in Powell.

Merial J. Myers died after a long love affair with life. For those whose lives she touched, there are pleasant memories; for those whose lives she did not touch, she was sorry. Merial left behind family and friends brightened by her presence. If you wish, memorialize her life in your own way.

After a seven-year battle with cancer,  Darrell Ray Trembath died on Monday, April 1, 2013, at his home with his wife and family by his side. He was 72.

Darrell was born June 20, 1940 in Frederick, Colo., to Arnetta “Nettie” (Moeller) and Hugh Raymond Trembath.

Sally Wilkins, 87, of Cody, died on Monday, March 25, 2013 at the Spirit Mountain Hospice House.

Sally was born Dec. 17, 1925 in Deaver to Leslie and Mildred (Garard) Hill. The family moved to Powell where Sally completed her education.

Haakon Bruce Lie died March 14, 2013 at his home in Laurel, Mont., surrounded by his loved ones. He was 70. Haakon was born Nov. 19, 1942 at the Naval Air Station Base in Pensacola, Fla., the son of Leif and Doris Lie.

Marie Mae McGonagle Grant was born May 1, 1921. She died March 23, 2013 at the age of 91.

Marie was the daughter of Jesse Thompson McGonagle and Ada Lee Birney. Her father was a farmer and she grew up enjoying farm life, horses and cattle. She attended school in Powell and graduated from Powell High School in 1939.

Milton Ray “Bud” Clifton, was born on Dec. 8, 1946, in Powell, the fourth of nine children, to Carl W. and Evelyn A. Clifton.

He died Feb. 5, 2013 in Mesa, Ariz., surrounded by his family, after a year-long battle with pancreatic cancer. He was 66.
