A bison advocacy group is opposing the killing of up to 900 bison exiting Yellowstone National Park’s northern boundary.
So far, nearly 300 bison have been captured and will be killed.

It’s good news and bad news when Wyomingites save a few bucks at the gas pumps.
Wyoming consumers will save money when the cost of gas is less, but when the price of crude oil goes down, so does revenue to the state and counties.

Try picturing the Big Horn Mountains 100,000 years ago. Same topography; plant life would have differed, though not significantly from the flora found there today.
Much of the wildlife would be completely different, since many species vanished millenniums ago.

The cost to spend a week in Yellowstone and Grand Teton national parks could double next year.
Currently, a seven-day pass to both Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Parks is $25 for a private vehicle.
There are hundreds of grizzly bears roaming the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem.
The federal government is keeping a watchful eye on the giant bruins as it decides whether to begin the process of removing grizzlies from the Endangered Species list.

A gallon of unleaded regular gas is cheaper than it’s been in years. Although Wyoming is higher than some states, the price will likely match the national level in a month or two, according to local convenience store owners.

Bill Brewer, a Powell native who served Park County as its sheriff and as a county commissioner, died Saturday.
Brewer, 76, died due to heart complications, according to his family.
