Federal authorities hope to keep more than $20,000 in cash that a Yellowstone National Park ranger seized from two young Illinois men this summer. Prosecutors say one man admitted they had planned to use the money to buy marijuana in Oregon, then sell it in Illinois.

The United States government currently stands more than $19.8 trillion deep in debt. As of Thursday, the U.S. Treasury pegged the amount owed at exactly $19,844,586,961,607.12.

And you can expect that figure to only get worse.

Neighbors objected to planned facility west of town

After a series of contentious public meetings featuring strong opposition from neighbors, Park County commissioners have allowed a woman to build a new group home west of Powell.

A Cody man allegedly led several police officers on a high-speed chase through Ralston and Powell before crashing on the Willwood Sunday afternoon.
