Right up there with the November election itself, there’s drama playing out in legislative circles about who will be the face of leadership, particularly in the Wyoming House of Representatives, when the next legislative session convenes in January of 2017.

Site work began last week in Laramie on the high profile project to renovate the University of Wyoming Arena Auditorium, and the project has been awarded to a Park County construction company.

Did the primary election vote in August give us any kind of read on the prospect for passage of the 1-cent optional sales tax in Park County in November? Were people connecting any dots to the candidate positions on the sales tax?

People want to vote in the presidential election.

The official voting records are unequivocal on that subject. The same records are a little puzzling on what it takes to motivate the electorate to go to the polls at other times.

Deer carcasses lying along the side of the road may prompt driver caution, but they aren’t posted there as warning signs.
