Lucy Cozzens, 87, died in Powell on Dec. 19, 2012.

She was born in Michigan in 1925. Lucy trained as a registered nurse and received her RN degree from the Blodgett School of Nursing in Grand Rapids, Mich.

Lloyd Gordon Johnson, 86, of Cody, died peacefully Thursday, Dec. 20, 2012 at West Park Hospital Long Term Care Center.

He was born to Edwin and Afton Huffman Johnson on Feb. 17, 1926 in Georgetown, Idaho. He was the middle child in a family of seven children.

Heber “Bart” Howard Hart, 71, died Friday, Dec. 14, 2012 at Spirit Mountain Hospice House in Cody with Lois at his side.

Heber, the oldest son of Howard and Ethel Hart, was born on July 15, 1941 in Lovell.

Reginald “Denny” Hall, 87, of Powell died Tuesday, Dec. 18, 2012, surrounded by family and his good friend, Dr. Bob Fordham.

Denny was born in Morgantown, W.V. on March 22, 1925 to Roscoe Hall and Christine Everett. He graduated from Morgantown High School in 1943.

Micah Lucas Sparks, 29, of Dallas, Texas, died suddenly on Monday, Dec. 17, 2012.

Forrest Dale Cordes, 87, known to most simply as “Frosty,” died Saturday, Dec. 15, 2012.

He was born on March 3, 1925 in Guthrie, Okla. He was the second of three children born to Henry and Fairy Cordes.

Major Charles “Charlie” Willard Harris, 94, of Cody, died peacefully at Spirit Mountain Hospice on Tuesday, Dec. 11, 2012. He was Cody’s oldest living Marine and honorably served his country.

Rex L. Tryon, 76, of Cody died on Sunday, Dec. 9, 2012 at West Park Long Term Care Center.

Rex was born on May 21, 1936 in Sheridan to Clyde and Viola Tryon. He spent part of his childhood in Sheridan before Clyde moved the family to Cody where he graduated from Cody High School. Rex married his high school sweetheart, Ann Marie Ohlson, on April 6, 1956 and they celebrated their 56th anniversary this year. Rex and Ann made their home in Cody and raised four daughters.

A great cowboy, father, grandfather, brother and friend was lost when Rollin “Rolly” Thomas Trumbull died Wednesday, Dec. 12, 2012 at his home in Ralston. He was 76.

He was an “ol time cowboy” who could tame the toughest bronc, shoe the worst horse, pound a nail in the hardest wood and yet still tip his hat to every lady. He had the heart of a kind and gentle soul.
