Larry John Van Epps of Powell died Wednesday, Jan. 9, 2013.

Larry was born May 31, 1949 in Mahnomen, Minn., to Louis and Alice Van Epps. He was first generation Dutch as both his parents came over to the United States from Holland in their early years.

G.W. Marshall was born the youngest of five children on April 22, 1924 in Zuni, N.M. to Jesse Gwynn Marshall and Mary Elizabeth Griffin Marshall. His dad was a doctor on the Zuni reservation. G.W. died Monday, Jan. 7, 2013 at his home in Powell. He was 88.

Raelee M. “Lee” Easton died at Sunshine Rehab Gardens in Spokane, Wash., on Monday, Jan. 7, 2013. She was 84.

Richard Charles Thorne of Deaver and Whitehall, Mont., died Jan. 2, 2013, in Deaver.

He was born Aug. 20, 1954, in Seattle, to Charles Edward and Billie Joyce (White) Thorne. He received a bachelor’s of science in chemistry and doctor of medicine degree from the University of South Dakota.

Mitchial Lange, formerly of Byron, died on Jan. 4, 2013 from complications related to diabetes in the Logan Regional Hospital in Logan, Utah. He was 69.

Lon Herbert Beck, 52, died at his residence in Thermopolis on Thursday, Dec. 27, 2012.

Born Oct. 5, 1960 in Wheatland, Lon was one of four children born to Gary and Doris (Austin) Beck. As his father was an electrician, the family lived in various states.
