Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Aug. 14 at the Cowley LDS Church for Ella Martha McLemore.

Burial at the Lovell Cemetery will follow the services.

Mrs. McLemore died at her Deaver home on Aug. 8 from brain and lung cancer. She was 86.

Mrs. McLemore was born Dec. 8, 1914, at Bird City, Kan., the daughter of Richard and Bertha Muller. In Kansas, she lived on the family farm, then attended school and college and enjoyed playing basketball.

Mrs. McLemore taught at schools in Wyoming, Kansas and Nebraska. She enjoyed children and country life.

She married Carl Talmon and they had three children, Tony, Tim and Angella. Mr. Talmon passed away and she later married Charles Burns McLemore of Deaver. He preceded her in death in 1993.

Mrs. McLemore spent much time with her three children.

Survivors include three sisters, Lola Cooper and Eva Reinke of Goodland, Kan., and Lucille Scribner of Littleton, Colo.; a brother, Dean Muller of Kansas and Colorado; and several nieces and nephews.
