Annual event will run for five days in Ralston

Folks from around the globe will be getting their kicks at the 16th annual Jake Clark’s Mule Days in Ralston Wednesday through Sunday.

Anglers asked to keep non-native fish caught in most waters

Yellowstone National Park has updated its fishing regulations. Changes in this year’s regulations include removing limits on non-native fish in some locations to eliminate unwanted species and protect cutthroat trout and other native species. And they are making headway against the foreign fish.

Touch-and-go twister Monday

A tornado touched down southeast of Cody around 11 a.m. Monday. No damage or injuries were reported of what was most likely a weak twister.

Hunters may be upset because the Wyoming wolf hunt quota got cut in half for this fall, but they can celebrate the fact that wolf genetic interchange is happening.

Spring into Yellowstone

Event proves popular, scheduled for next year

The first “Spring into Yellowstone: Cody Birding and Wildlife Festival” was so successful that the second annual event already is scheduled for next year.

The Wyoming Game and Fish Department will host public meetings this month to discuss proposed changes to wolf management and the 2013 wolf hunting season.
