As they have for the past six years, Powell High School’s staff and student body will hold a special observance for Veterans Day this week.

In September, the Wyoming Community College Commission used a new system to prioritize funding for building projects at the state’s community colleges.

It’s been a year of problems and changes for the Park County Fairgrounds.

Electrical issues, the demolition of a major building due to structural problems, and changes in personnel at particularly inconvenient times all affected the facility in the past year.

The Powell City Council is once again faced with the question of how much support it can provide to the Powell golf course.

Lady Panthers win final home match

It wasn’t a perfect weekend on the court for the Powell Lady Panthers, but a win over Worland and a strong challenge against Cody ended the regular season on a positive note.

Wyoming generally is a place where the term “appropriate dress” is a somewhat flexible concept.

The Powell Lady Panthers closed their regular season with a dual meet win over Worland last week.

Last night (Wednesday), volunteers worked the streets of Powell seeking donations of food to fill the pantry of the community’s food bank, Loaves and Fishes.

Lady Panthers fall to Cody in three

It was not Powell’s night Tuesday when they took on the Cody Fillies in volleyball action.

The Cody girls used a strong attack to dominate the Lady Panthers in three games, 25-9, 25-16, 25-14.
