‘Patient safety’ cited by PVHC

A doctor who was suspended last year due to “patient safety concerns” has resigned from Powell Valley Healthcare.

"I feel so good I can hardly stand it,” Tim Seeley said last week.

That’s something he, his wife Lynnae and their three children celebrate every day. It’s also a dramatic change from his outlook from just more than a month ago.

Powell stands to gain another quality restaurant soon, following approval of the city’s last retail liquor license by the Powell City Council on Monday.

Anthony and Helena... A love story

In the wake of his wife’s unexpected death, Powell man reflects on their lives together

Anthony Polvere and his wife, Helena De Fina, had been married for 20 years when De Fina, 50, died suddenly and unexpectedly last month.

Love makes the world go ’round, they say, and Friday is a celebration of love.

When news of Paul Cardwell’s 10-year sentence was announced Monday at Powell Valley Clinic, cheers arose from employees who have struggled to put the history of Cardwell’s theft and deceptions behind them.
